The brand’s name, meaning Seven Elephants, it’s word-mark and imagery is a play on nostalgic feelings of a target Russian market. The traditional imported Tea with an Elephant, was once the most popular product. The design of the package has intentionally vintage styling reminiscent of advertisements of colonial products at the turn of the last century. It is emphasized with the choice of heavy slab serif fonts, use of decorative elements and the style of illustrations. The series include Earl Gray, Ceylon, Darjeeling, and Orange Pekoe (here left to right).
The original artworks for the packaging, each featuring seven of the pachyderms, are created in realistic and woodcut-like style.
